Get PIC
PIC is in beta. There's no price yet, and nothing to pay to try it.
Join the beta
- Email us from the Google address you'll sign in with, and tell us your tablet or phone, what you fly, and your ADS-B receiver if you have one.
- We'll reply with how to install PIC on your device.
- Sign in with Google, download the data for your region, and set up your aircraft.
If the button doesn't open your email app, write to support@480data.com with "PIC beta" in the subject.
What you need
- Device
- An Android tablet or phone running Android 8.0 or later. PIC is designed for tablets first.
- Account
- A 480data account, signed in with Google using the same email address.
- Storage
- Room for the charts, plates and terrain of the regions you fly in. You choose which regions to download.
- ADS-B receiver
- Optional. A receiver that sends GDL 90 over Wi-Fi, such as a Stratux or an iLevil, gives you traffic and FIS-B weather in flight. Without one, PIC uses the internet for weather and traffic when you have a connection.
Pricing
Coming soon. We'll publish the price here before the beta ends, and nobody in the beta will be charged without agreeing first.
Before you fly with it
PIC is an aid to situational awareness and planning, not a certified navigation source. Beta software can have mistakes: check what it tells you against official sources.
